High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Willie Cauley-Stein (at DAL – $6,500): Needs 28.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.3 fantasy points against LA Lakers. WCS is playing limited minutes but still putting up solid numbers. And now he gets a rematch against the Mavericks. He had 41.1 fantasy points against them on Mar. 21. The minutes should be up in this one because the Mavericks have no frontcourt and WCS should be able to take advantage of them once again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Marc Gasol (vs CHI – $6,300): Needs 27.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.8 fantasy points against Charlotte. Gasol has been all over the place as a member of the Raptors but he’s coming off a strong outing against the Hornets and now he gets a matchup against the Bulls. This should be a game where they continue to work on things as their roster gets healthy and get Gasol more comfortable coming into the playoffs. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Thomas Bryant (at LAL – $6,000): Needs 26.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.7 fantasy points against Miami. As long as Bryant starts, you can count on him to deliver against this Lakers matchup. His minutes can be all over the place but he should be counted on in this game. If he doesn’t start, I’m concerned that the minutes won’t be there. But if he starts, you can take him with confidence given the matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
