Mike and Maria brag about last week’s win

Mike and Maria Kanellis are interviewed backstage about Mike’s losing streak ending last week after his defeat of Akira Tozawa. Maria is offended at being asked if they were relieved about his win, and she states Mike is better than the best. The couple insults the “haters” for judging their questionable tactics leading to the win.

Drake Maverick approaches them and is called a hater by Maria as well. There is tension between both sides as Maverick mocks Mike for using his wife to get wins. Maverick reveals that a rematch will take place on next week’s episode of 205 Live. This match will see a difference from last week as Brian Kendrick will be in Tozawa’s corner next week to counteract Maria’s presence.
