Ring announcer JoJo has been on a personal leave from WWE since the end of 2018 and now we know why — she’s expecting a child.

It’s been since New Year’s Eve that WWE ring announcer JoJo has been seen with the company, whether on television or at live events. There had been no news or announcement as to why she wasn’t around, making fans a little nervous that her tenure with the company had come to an end.

In February, her official Twitter account and website assuaged those fears, stating that “JoJo isn’t done with WWE! She’ll be back at some point,” and, the following week an update that, “[W]e won’t be giving out the details as to why JoJo isn’t currently on TV. It’s completely private and her privacy should stay that way. All there is to know is that it is a personal reason and she will eventually be back.”

And now we know what that “personal reason” is — JoJo is expecting a child.

JoJo took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce the pregnancy, her due date (sometime in June) and the baby’s name (Knash).

In the post, she wrote:

"I’m so excited to announce baby Knash, coming this June! This has been the most beautiful, incredible experience of my life so far. I am so happy that I was able to use this time to enjoy this privately but now I’m ready to share it with you all. I could not be happier!!! This truly has been the biggest blessing. And words can not explain how ready and excited we are to meet you my little man! I love you more than you’ll ever know … Oh and WWE universe WE will be back when the time is right"

Scrolling through the pictures and you might see a familiar set of arms wrapped — those of Bray Wyatt, to whom she has long been romantically linked. It is thus safe to assume that Wyatt is the father. It may also be fair to assume that it will still be some time until Wyatt returns to a WWE ring, given JoJo’s statement that “WE will be back when the time is right.”

JoJo, 25, has been a ring announcer for the WWE and NXT since 2013; she made the jump to the main roster in 2013. In her absence, Mike Rome has served as ring announcer for Monday Night Raw.

We at FanSided wish JoJo and Wyatt our congratulations and best wishes.
