The 2019 MLB season has already kicked off, but with the full slate to start on Thursday, here is the best and worst case scenario for each team.

Last week, the 2019 MLB season kicked off in Japan, where the Seattle Mariners took on the Oakland Athletics. The main storyline during that short series was former Japanese star Ichiro, who retired from professional baseball after the Mariners’ 5-4  victory over the A’s.

For Ichiro, his career will certainly end up with him being enshrined in Cooperstown, as he is one of the better hitters we have ever seen. During the rest of the 2019 season, there are sure to be a ton more storylines, as there are more than a few teams who could seriously challenge for a World Series title.

Last season, we saw the Boston Red Sox win it all, beating the Los Angeles Dodgers in five games in Alex Cora’s first season as manager. For Boston, their goal will be winning another one, but they could struggle to even win their division, as the New York Yankees reloaded their bullpen for another shot at 100 wins in 2019.

In this piece, we will look at the best and worst case scenarios for each MLB team this season. While every team’s goal is to win the World Series, some teams just do not have the talent to do so this year, so their best case scenario will not be as grand.

We start things off with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
