Best and worst case scenario for every MLB team in 2019

New York Mets
The New York Mets hired an agent to be their general manager this offseason, and Brodie Van Wagenen has wasted no time reshaping this roster. First, he pulled the trigger on a huge deal to bring the team a starting second baseman and closer, and has spent the rest of the offseason adding pieces all over the roster.
Stating they want to win now, the Mets were not kidding, as they decided to add Pete Alonzo to the Opening Day roster despite the fact they will lost a year of control over him down the line. Last season, the Mets finished towards the bottom of the NL East after a 12-1 start, but this roster is improved, and if they stay healthy, they will be a team to challenge the entire way.
Best case scenario
The pitching staff holds up, and Jacob deGrom, Noah Syndergaard, and Zach Wheeler become the top starting pitching trio in the NL East. New York added a quality closer in Edwin Diaz, a legitimate threat in the lineup in Robinson Cano, and filled in enough holes to actually fight for the NL East title in 2019.
Worst case scenario
The injury bug hits this franchise once again, and they see their starting pitchers spend more time on the disabled list, then on the pitching mound. New York made some nice moves this offseason, and are a better team then they were a year ago, but it is not a stretch that they could end up on the outside looking in at the playoffs once again.
