Cleveland Indians

Over the past three seasons, the Cleveland Indians have been the class of the AL Central, winning three consecutive division titles. In that span, they have made it to a World Series, where they lost to the Chicago Cubs back in 2016, and are coming off two straight seasons of being bounced by the New York Yankees in the Divisional Round.

Heading into 2019, this is the team to beat once again in the division, though they have been bitten by the injury but to start the season. However, once they get back to full strength, they should win their fourth division title in a row, and they certainly have the bats, and the rotation to do just that this season.

Best case scenario

The best case scenario for the Cleveland Indians this upcoming season would be to actually get over the hump in the divisional round, and make it back to the ALCS. In a seven-game series, Cleveland has the arms to get it done no matter who they play, but they are going to  have to find a way to get past those pesky New York Yankees.

Worst case scenario

The Indians win the division once again, but fall in the playoffs before the American League Championship Series. I do not see any team in the AL Central challenging them, but while getting out their division has been no problem, beating the rest of the elite in the American League certainly has been.
