Auburn celebrated their win over North Carolina just as they do with big wins in football, by rolling Toomer’s Corner.

Auburn is headed to the Elite 8 for the first time since 1986 and fans are celebrating in a big way. One of the proudest traditions at Auburn is rolling Toomer’s Corner.

So after beating North Carolina to get to the Elite 8 for the first time since 1986, fans had to celebrate as only they know how.

Sara Palczewski from Opelika-Auburn News shared videos of the scene on campus as fans celebrated what could easily be argued as the biggest in program history.

Think how awesome it would be to be a student at this time to see your basketball team go on a historic run like this. And to beat a team with a storied history like North Carolina, at the same time, and this is stuff they’ll remember for the rest of their lives.

They’ll tell their grandchildren the stories of the night Auburn beat North Carolina to get to the Elite 8.

The Athletic’s Justin Ferguson shared a picture of Toomer’s Oaks covered in toilet paper.

And there were a few football players on hand for the victory celebration. Who would want to miss out on this party on a Friday night, right? It’s the hottest party on campus. Who needs spring break when you have March Madness?!

The Tigers play the winner of Kentucky-Houston on Sunday for a berth in the Final Four.

If Auburn keeps winning, just imagine how big the celebrations will be at Toomer’s Corner.
