Hart Foundation drama, the debut of a luchador and everything else you need to know about the upcoming March 30, 2019 episode of MLW Fusion.

There’s only one match announced for this week’s episode of MLW Fusion so far, the debut of new MLW-signee Air Wolf against Ricky Martinez. Wolf, a nineteen-year-old high-flyer, is mostly known for his work in Chikara and indies across the Midwest. He has his work cut out for him against Martinez, who is coming off a defeat of Kotto Brazil at Superfight. From that match and the way Martinez’s home faction Promociones Dorado tends to go about its business, it’s safe to expect shenanigans from manager Salina de la Renta along with the flips in this match.

We could be seeing even more of de la Renta this week since we’re supposed to expect something from Promociones Dorado about their preparation for Battle Riot 2. With Low Ki vs. Daga and LA Park vs. Jimmy Havoc coming up, hopefully we get a glimpse of Ki and Park training together for no other reason than the comedy potential.

We’re also scheduled to learn more participants for the actual Battle Riot match, the anything-goes battle royal for a shot at the World Heavyweight Title at the time and place of the challenger’s choosing. So far the list of competitors includes MLW regulars like Jimmy Yuta and Myron Reed along with guest star legends like Dan Severn and Minoru Tanaka. This match is happening on WrestleMania weekend, so anybody could show up.

This episode will also feature the next development in the feud between the Dynasty (MJF, Richard Holliday and now Alex Hammerstone) and MLW World Tag Team Champions the Hart Foundation (MLW Middleweight Champion Teddy Hart, Brian Pillman Jr. and Davey Boy Smith Jr.) as we approach their six-man tables match scheduled for the Rise of the Renegades event. Our Canadian heroes are on the offensive after Hart was arrested last week after being framed for vandalizing MJF’s car, a questionable creative decision given that Hart was arrested in real life for sexual assault, unlawful confinement  and three counts of assault in 2014, though the charges were dropped in 2016.

Starrcast II will stream on FITE.TV, feature over 40 hours of live events. dark. Next

With Hart’s weird cousins looking to avenge him, a new high-flyer on the roster, and some huge matches coming up in the near future, this should be an eventful episode of MLW Fusion. The show is available to watch through beIN Sports and on MLW’s YouTube channel Saturday nights at 9pm ET/6pm PT.
