DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 30, 2019
High Salary C
Players costing over $6,250
Karl-Anthony Towns (vs PHI – $10,400): Needs 49.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.75 fantasy points against Golden State. It’s a back-to-back for the Timberwolves but with Embiid out of the lineup, Towns should have a much easier time in the paint. He had just 24.25 fantasy points against the Sixers on Jan. 15 but was limited with foul trouble and an Embiid problem. With no Embiid, I trust him to be much better in this game. He’s going to cost a pretty penny, but his ceiling is very high. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Andre Drummond (vs POR – $9,000): Needs 42.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 60.5 fantasy points against Orlando. With no Nurkic to deal with and the Blazers on a back-to-back, I have to trust Drummond to deliver in a big way in this game. He had just 39.75 fantasy points against the Blazers on Mar. 23 but they were with Nurkic. I love Drummond in this game and think he can produce just as much as Towns at a much cheaper price. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Nikola Vucevic (at IND – $8,700): Needs 41.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.5 fantasy points against Detroit. Vucevic was down against the Pistons but I’m not worried about him in this one. With the Pacers on a back-to-back and the typical way Vucevic plays, he should be much better in this game. He had 47.5 fantasy points against the Pacers on Mar. 2. The back-to-back situation really helps him in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
