Welcome to NASCAR DFS Pit Stop for Saturday’s My Bariatric Solutions 300 Xfinity Series race from Texas Motor Speedway  in Fort Worth, Texas. Cole Custer was able to stop the juggernaut that is Kyle Busch 2 weeks ago in Fontana, California at Auto Club Speedway. Kyle is back this week for his 4th of 5 races on the Xfinity series and he is joined from the Cup series by Martinsville winner, Brad Keselowski.

This week is the first qualifier for the Xfinity Series Dash 4 Cash, and the program is only eligible to drivers competing for Xfinity Series driver points . The top four title-eligible Xfinity Series drivers from the Fort Worth event will compete for the first Dash 4 Cash payday in the Bristol opener. Whichever driver finishes highest next week in Bristol will earn a $100,000 payday and be automatically qualified for the Richmond event next week along with the next 3 highest finishers from Bristol.

NASCAR DFS: Leaders of the Pack

Kyle Busch ($15,000)

2019 avg finish: 1.3

Kyle Busch is the favorite, of course, this week in Texas and it will take some great driving to take him down. Fellow cup series driver Brad Keselowski ($14,400) is also a threat to win this race. Busch may not have the best car out there on Saturday but he will be the best driver.

Tyler Reddick ($10,700)

2019 avg finish: 7

The 2018 Xfinity Series champion is back on top of the point standings and has been turning out great finish after great finish this season. In 5 races Reddick has 4 top 10’s and his worse finish this season is 14th. If you want to fade Busch, Reddick will be my top driver.

Cole Custer ($9,900)

2019 avg finish: 6

Custer won the last time the Xfinity series raced 2 weeks ago in Fontana holding of Kyle after leading only 29 laps. Combining Custer and Reddick could be a way to take down any Kyle Busch led lineups, especially if one of them can get out front and lead a bunch of laps and win the race. If that is to happen I believe it’ll be either Custer or Reddick

Brandon Jones ($9,300)
2019 avg finish: 9.8

Jones is looking for his 5th top 10 in his last 6 races and is coming off back to back 7th place finishes. Last year at Texas, Jones finished 9th and also started 9th. As with most races Jones makes for a great play if you are fading Busch and Keselowski.

Other Options: Christopher Bell ($11,300)

NASCAR DFS: Middle of the Pack

Noah Gragson ($8,500

2019 avg finish: 9.2

My boy Noah has been having a great rookie season in his #9 JR Motorsports Chevy and has finished inside the top 12 in all 5 races this season. In final practice on Friday Gragson ran the 5th best single lap and was 7th in ten lap average speed, as usual I am really liking Gragson on Saturday to pull off a top 5 finish.

Ryan Sieg ($8,100)

2019 avg finish: 8.4

Sieg has an average of 43.1 DKFP per race this season and has 3 top 10 finishes in 5 races, with his other 2 finishes both being 11th place finishes in Atlanta and Fontana. In final practice Sieg finished with the 16th best single lap time, which is not great, but with how he well he has run this season and if he has a bad qualifying spot he could be a great value.

Kaz Grala ($7,600)

2019 avg finish: N/A

Grala has not run a race this season in the Xfinity series, but he did run a full schedule in 2018 and at Texas last season he started 37th and finished 26th. Grala and his #21 RCR Chevy ran great practice times on Friday running the 8th best individual lap and 6th best 10 lap average. He car looks good in long runs as well since his fastest laps came in the middle of his runs

Other Options: Michael Annett ($8,500), Ross Chastain ($7,800), Chase Briscoe ($7,400)

NASCAR DFS: Back of the Pack

Jeremy Clements ($6,100)

2019 avg finish: 19.2

Clements ran a 12th in final practice on Friday and his #51 driver owned car looked really fast. With the exception of his poor Daytona finish, Clements has finished inside the top 20 in the other 4 races since (15th place average over the last 4 races)

Jeb Burton ($5,800)

2019 avg finish: N/A

Burton will be running his first race of the 2019 season and taking over the #8 JR Motorsports Chevy for this weekend. Burton has a very fast race car as shown by the 11th place practice lap he ran on Friday. Burton is the 5th driver to take over the #8 this season, and in the 5 previous races this season this car has 4 top 10’s, Burton will look to get them their 5th top ten on Saturday

Mike Harmon ($5,200)

2019 avg finish: 29.8

Mike Harmon is listed here for one reason, he runs laps and stay out of trouble. Harmon gains on average 9 positive place differential point per race this season and has averaged 29 DKFP per race the last two races.

Other Options: Garrett Smithley  ($6,900), Tyler Hill ($5,400)
