High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Frank Kaminsky (at GS – $5,000): Needs 21.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.3 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Kaminsky has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games and even with the minutes down, he seems to be playing well. It’s tough to trust Kaminsky but he’s been playing well as of late and if the minutes are going to be there, he should deliver. The Warriors aren’t playing defense and there isn’t much going on at the value power forward position. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Marvin Williams (at GS – $4,700): Needs 20 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.4 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Williams was down for a couple of games and then he was back up against the Lakers. The minutes are usually there for him and he’s shown a high ceiling. But he’s been more up-and-down as of late than Kaminsky, which is slightly concerning. I do think he’s slightly more reliable due to minutes, but not by much. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

JaMychal Green (vs MEM – $4,000): Needs 17 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36 fantasy points against Cleveland. But your true top choice at the value power forward position should be Green because if Gallinari is out of the lineup, he’ll draw the start. And he fits in well with the Clippers. And he gets to go up against his former team in the Grizzlies. If the minutes are there, which they will be with Gallinari out, Green should deliver once again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
