Daily Fantasy Baseball is in full swing, and whether you play on DraftKings, FanDuel, Yahoo, or Fantasy Draft, this article is designed to help you find the best value plays across the board for today’s slate. These low salary targets are my top players to help you roster your stud bats and pitchers.

Welcome to FantasyCPR! If you are a regular reader, welcome back for baseball! If you are new we are glad to have you, and we certainly hope you make us your first source of your Daily Fantasy Baseball research everyday. We will have plenty of articles every day here at FantasyCPR, and no matter where you play, we are likely to have you covered.

What separates us from others, is that we have a solid team of writers all tackling different areas to write about. This allows us to hone in our content, and you give our best plays possible, as early as possible. We are without a doubt the leader in first-look articles for DFS, so if you just found us, welcome, and I hope you come back for more.

While most of our content is site specific, whether it be for hitting or pitching, this article is going to be different. What I will do here, is evaluate potential value plays for that particular day, across the four major DFS sites.

So the plan of attack here is, first I will highlight my top value plays for Yahoo and Fantasy Draft. I will dig up certain plays that I think fit their scoring systems, and possible flaws in pricing. I will then do the same for FanDuel, and then for DraftKings.

Finally after I break down my favorites from each site specifically, I will then finish up with top overall multi-site value plays. These are the top players viable across the industry, who are in line to out produce their respective salary, no matter what the site. All of these plays are just simply the best value plays that stand out, regardless of site.

Daily Fantasy Baseball: Top Value Plays – Yahoo!

SP – Julio Urias – Los Angeles Dodgers – $35

Here is my thinking on Yahoo today. With the limited scoring pitchers receive here, and absolutely no stud pitchers to pay up for, I love pairing an under priced Matt Strahm with Dodgers young left-handed prospect Julio Urias. He gets the gift of facing the Giants offense, and this is a match-up I will look at consider every single day.

I hate playing Dodgers pitchers more than anything. Manager Dave Roberts is known to have a short leash, and is notorious for taking pitchers out at what most view as too early.

However, what else is there. I cannot pay up for David Price today against a club like Oakland that hits lefties well, and while I think I am rolling with Strahm on FanDuel, Urias has a good shot of being my SP2 everywhere else, but especially on Yahoo.

3B – J.D. Davis – New York Mets- $7

Third base is just loaded with value once again, and it is all coming down to which value plays I am playing where. Here on Yahoo, I am taking a solid look at Davis at minimum price.

David Freese will likely hit near the top of the lineup for Los Angeles, and David Bote is another option to save a buck or two, but I need to go all the way down to the bare minimum here and the new Mets clean-up hitter is my guy. Davis is 2-for-10 to start 2019, with a double, two RBI’s and two runs scored.

Daily Fantasy Baseball: Top Value Plays – FantasyDraft

Los Angeles Dodgers RH Bats:

We got a little crazy here with the Fantasy Draft section yesterday, and since the trend continues and we can even elaborate a little bit, let’s mix it up once again. It seems something in Fantasy Drafts pricing is stretched across entire teams.

For instance, some entire teams are priced up entirely too high, while other entire teams are too cheap. Today and I am sure again in the future, let me give you some three man stacks to consider here instead.

The Dodgers will face Giants lefty Drew Pomeranz, so here is how I am looking at attacking this. Kike Hernandez should lead off, and can fill an infield or an outfield position for $7,500. Following him in my stack here on Fantasy Draft, will be likely number two hitter Justin Turner, who is also a bargain at just $8,200.

Completing the stack, will be projected clean-up hitter A.J. Pollack, who is a fair but affordable $8,600. David Freese is also an option as he should hit third if manager Dave Roberts doesn’t mix things up too much. However, there are better options on this site in Freese’s price range.

Oakland Athletics RH Bats:

Priced down to suggested quality of opponent, the Athletics will host the Red Sox, who come in to Oakland just 1-3 on the season, after getting bested in three of four by Seattle. David Price is still a good pitcher, he is just not a great pitcher. This Oakland lineup is made for crushing lefties, so let’s take a look at this dirt cheap stack option for GPP play.

Let’s start with the obvious. I wrote up Khris Davis here yesterday, and in fact, he was the reason to change the theme to give you a better look at the mid-tier range. He was only $8,100 yesterday, and he can be had today for $8,300 against another lefty in David Price.

Completing this cheap stack option is Marcus Semien and Matt Chapman, as both can be had for just $7,300. It might not be necessary to go this low with the lack of pitching, but if you really want to load up on stud bats, this could work out well.

Daily Fantasy Baseball: Top Value Plays – FanDuel

SP – Matt Strahm – San Diego Padres – $6,400

Moving on to FanDuel, let’s focus on the importance of this play. Look, pitching is downright awful, and it appears we are going to see a lot of this this year. With a small number of teams really loaded 1-5, it leaves some really bad fourth and fifth starters on other teams.

Tonight you can play David Price against Oakland and hope he doesn’t get shelled, or you can play Julio Urias, and hope he makes it past the fourth inning. For lack of better options. Strahm looks like the easy play on FanDuel. He is only $6,400 here, while he has been priced up to opponent at the very least everywhere else.

Yup, I am picking on San Francisco again here, as not only do they struggle with lefties, Strahm is looking like another young bright spot in this rotation. Unless people actually play Kyle Hendricks which is understandable, this will likely be very chalky today. But on days like this, it is what it is.

3B – David Bote – Chicago Cubs – $2,700

The Cubs are getting hot, and with lefty Sean Newcomb on the hill for the Braves, I expect to see Bote get another start. Chicago is just 1-2 to start the season, after losing the rubber match in Texas on a wild pitch in the ninth to lose 11-10. The offense was clicking, and Kris Bryant and Javier Baez are off to hot starts at the plate.

Bote is 2-for-7 with a double to start the season, but the hope is that the hot spring training can continue to carry into the regular season. He hit .462 in 26 spring at-bats, and added two home runs as well. Confirm he is in the starting the lineup, but with him and Albert Almora presenting great value, and Baez and Bryant on fire, this looks like a potential four man stack spot.

Daily Fantasy Baseball: Top Value Plays – DraftKings

SS – Marcus Semien – Oakland Athletics – $3,600

You won’t need many value plays here today, but my trend of finding A’s priced too low continues here on DraftKings, as I think Price has a hard time with these bats tonight. The Red Sox are cold, and Semien is off to quietly good start to 2019.

Semien is hitting .409 with a home run, and has hit safely in all six games to start the season. If you can pay up for Javier Baez at this spot today that is probably a good idea, but if you need to save that few extra hundred to spend up elsewhere I think Semien can stay hot tonight

SP – Ryan Yarbrough – Tampa Bay Rays – $6,000

Well it is already “opener” season for Tampa Bay, as Ryne Stanek will start the game for the Rays, and is expected to throw the first one or two innings. He will then be followed by the hard throwing left-handed Ryan Yarbrough, who excelled in this same role last season.

Across 147.1 innings last season, Yarbrough compiled an impressive 16-6 record, with a 3.91 ERA and 128 strikeouts. With both Strahm and Urias priced up a bit here on DK, Yarbrough will my SP2 here tonight.

Daily Fantasy Baseball: Top Value Plays – Across the Industry!

Welcome to the most important, and final page of the article. On most days, certain value plays will line up well on 2 or three, or even all of the sites covered in this article. From the looks of it, I have a piece of every player coming up here on at least two sites in my early lineups, so just because you did not see somebody yet on another site specific slide from earlier, he could be coming up right now.

OF – Albert Almora Jr. – Chicago Cubs – ($3,600 DK, $2,800 FD, $8 Y!, $7,400 FantasyDraft)

Our first guy who checks out for value pretty much everywhere, is Cubs outfielder Albert Almora. The Cubs are shaping up to be my top team to target, and facing a lefty in Sean Newcomb, Almora should find himself at the top of the lineup. He led off on Opening Day against Rangers lefty Mike Minor, and went 2-for-6 with a run scored and an RBI.

While this is one of my top value plays on the day, and one I will likely go to a bit, the only site that doesn’t add up here is Fantasy Draft. With the pitching options today, there just isn’t much need to go too low there. On DraftKings and FanDuel however, I am guessing Almora will end up a sightly popular play in Cubs stacks everywhere.

OF – Jay Bruce – Seattle Mariners – ($4,000 DK, $2,500 FD, $12 Y!, $7,300 FantasyDraft)

Well I wrote up Bruce as a value play just before the weekend, when he was around $6500 on Fantasy Draft. He proceeded to go 0-for-3 with a walk. Then on the weekend, he did a great job of trolling me by homering in two consecutive games.

Bruce has eclipsed 30 points on FanDuel in back-to-back games now, and while he is getting price bumps places, except FanDuel, he still looks very playable in all formats today.

The Mariners are hot, and one thing I love doing in Daily Fantasy Baseball is riding hot streaks. They made the world notice in the first series of the year by taking down the might Red Sox, and now they will welcome a familiar rival to town in the Los Angeles Angels.

Chris Stratton will be on the bump for Angels, and that makes these red-hot Mariners one of my top teams to target tonight. And it all starts with Bruce.

Next. MLB DFS Picks and Pivots – Monday, April – April Foley’s. dark

That is all for today’s edition of MLB DFS Top Value Plays. I hope you like the format, as I think this is the best way to talk about which value bats and pitchers to consider, no matter what site you play on.
