2. Championship experience

In the last four seasons, the Warriors have played a combined 83 playoff games, giving many of their players more than a full regular season’s worth of playoff experience. The Warriors have faced a variety of teams and a number of unique situations that their prospective opponents have not, giving them a distinct advantage when the lights are low and the pressure is on. Compare this to the Bucks who have not won a playoff series since LeBron James was a sophomore at St. Vincent-St. Mary’s or the Raptors who have turned underwhelming playoff performances into a truly depressing art form. The Nuggets, who have been fighting with the Warriors for the top seed in the West all season, have not even made the playoffs since 2013. Mere playoff experience is, of course, no substitute for talent, but the combination of the two that the Warriors possess is truly staggering.
