1. Shooting

The Warriors are not the best 3-point shooting team in the league, but they do feature the most feared triumvirate of shooters in the NBA. No other team in the league that shoots 3’s as frequently as the Warriors has as good a percentage as they do, and the only two teams with a better shooting percentage from deep take nearly ten less per game than the Warriors. While they are only eighth in 3-point attempts, they are third in 3-pointers made.

Stephen Curry remains the best shooter in NBA history, seemingly able to make shots from any angle, from any location, in any situation, no matter how well guarded he may be. Klay Thompson has been super streaky this season but is still capable of completely destroying an opponent’s will on any given evening. Along with the Splash Brothers is Kevin Durant in the starting lineup and several capable shooters such as Quinn Cook, Jonas Jerebko, and Alfonzo McKinnie coming off the bench. The Warriors can kill opponents any number of ways, but it’s through shooting that they can most easily and most thoroughly destroy a team’s will.
