Sometimes after a heartbreaking loss, you need to let out a little steam from the pain of losing. That’s exactly what Zion did to his fellow students.

The pain Zion Williamson felt after his Duke Blue Devils were ushered off of the Capital One Arena floor had to be unbearable.

His team was supposed to be anointed National Champions, a proclamation of Zion’s greatness and he would stroll into this year’s NBA Draft as the unanimous number one pick, easing into his transition of supplanting  LeBron James as the best player the NBA had ever seen.

He’s still headed for NBA stardom but the searing pain of losing to Michigan State in the Elite 8 is something that will stick with Zion forever. So, how does he deal with that pain?

He takes it out on his fellow students in a pickup basketball game.

Zion dribbles past a student who has far less athletic prowess than Zion. Knowing that, he drove past this kid with ease, skips a bit, then throws the ball off the backboard. Then, as if his Superman cape never came off, he soars through the air at max speed, catching the ball with two hands, and throwing it down with a ferocity that would strike fear in anyone.

Oh, and to make sure that the ferocious dunk was felt as far away as Fresno, the rim swang back so far that it nearly came down. This is what will be coming to the NBA soon, and all players should be on notice of his incoming arrival.

That arrival will be even more dominant now that Zion has to shake off the pain of not being a National Champion. NBA, you have been officially warned.
