1. Their playoff luck has to change at some point, right?

In 24 seasons, the Raptors have only made the Conference Finals once, and have never advanced any further than that. These past six years have been the most successful in Raptors history as they’ve made the playoffs more times in these six years than they had in franchise history up to this point. But even throughout these more successful seasons, the Raptors have still tended to underachieve in the playoffs.

Fatalists and pessimists may look at that as a reason to believe that they’re bound to do so again, but I’m choosing to proclaim the opposite, however foolish doing so may be. Look, things have admittedly not gone well — honestly, they’ve gone impressively awry at times, so their luck is bound to change at some point. It’s the law of averages or something, and who am I to spit in the face of math?
