Players costing over $6,250

Trae Young (at ORL – $8,600): Needs 41.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 63.25 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Young bounced back from a rough outing against the Spurs with a great outing against the Sixers. He’s been great more often than not since the break and is still making a final push for an award he won’t win. He hasn’t been good against the Magic this season, which is a concern, but he’s due for a big game against them, right? Maybe not as reliable as others, but the ceiling is very high. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Donovan Mitchell (vs SAC – $8,400): Needs 39.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.75 fantasy points against Phoenix. Mitchell has been over 45 fantasy points in his last three games. And now he gets the Kings on a back-to-back. The only concern in this game is that it is a blowout bu the Jazz do have a tendency to let teams hang around too long. And the Kings can still run with anyone. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Dwyane Wade (at MIN – $6,600): Needs 31.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.75 fantasy points against Boston. It’s the last stand for the Heat and Wade. And with their injuries, Wade will have to continue to be great. He’s been over 31 fantasy points in three straight and five of his last six. I’m not doubting Wade. Not at this time of year and now against this Timberwolves team. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
