High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Marc Gasol (at CHA – $6,000): Needs 26.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.8 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Gasol has been up-and-down as of late and never found consistency with the Raptors. But he’s got a great matchup against the Hornets because the Hornets have nothing in their frontcourt. He gets enough minutes and chances if nothing else, so that helps. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Mason Plumlee (vs POR – $5,100): Needs 22.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.2 fantasy points against San Antonio. Plumlee doesn’t always get big minutes but he gets enough minutes and he’s been playing well as of late, going over 24 fantasy points in three straight contests. With the Blazers missing their best frontcourt option, Plumlee should be able to take advantage of their weaker depth. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.

Ivica Zubac (vs LAL – $5,000): Needs 22.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.1 fantasy points against Houston. Zubac can be a big all over the place and the minutes aren’t always there, but it’s the Lakers on a back-to-back. And he has to get revenge on them at some point, right? He wasn’t good against them on Mar. 4 but the matchup remains great and I have confidence that if the minutes are there, he can respond and have a bounce-back game. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
