Barcelona face Atletico Madrid at Camp Nou on Saturday, April 6. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

First place hosts second place in La Liga this weekend as Barcelona play Atletico Madrid on Saturday at Camp Nou. Barca are eight points ahead of Atleti with eight games remaining. While the title race is likely over barring a massive collapse, Atletico can put some added pressure onto Barcelona.

Barcelona played one of the most entertaining games of the season on Tuesday against Villarreal. After going up two goals, Barcelona watched as Villarreal scored four straight goals. Lionel Messi came off the bench and scored his 32nd goal of the season in the 90th minute. Three minutes later, Luis Suarez scored his 19th goal of the season to salvage a draw. The draw extended Barcelona’s unbeaten run to 19 games.

Since Diego Simeone took over as Atletico manager in December 2011, the club won the 2013-14 La Liga title, the Europa League twice and twice reached the Champions League final. However, Simeone has never defeated Barcelona in a league game. Atletico defeated Girona 2-0 last weekend and have won six of their last seven games. Antoine Griezmann scored his 14th goal of the season against Girona. However, the French star has struggled against Barca in his career, scoring six goals in 25 games. In La Liga games, Griezmann has not scored against Barca since Feb. 22, 2014, when he played for Real Sociedad. Atletico need Griezmann to score if they are going to end their La Liga winless draught against Barcelona.

Barcelona have won 12 of the last 17 La Liga games against Atletico Madrid, with five games ending in draws. Atletico last beat Barca in the 2015-16 Champions League, when they eliminated Barcelona in the quarterfinal. The last time Atletico beat Barca in La Liga was Feb. 14, 2010.
