Welcome to NASCAR DFS Pit Stop for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series: Alsco 300 from Bristol Motor Speedway. Bristol is one the most fun tracks, but also will have you tilting like no other track on the circuit will. This is the track that pretty much invented the terms rubbin’s racing and bump ‘n’ run because the drivers will most definitely doing both things this weekend. One thing you will notice is there are no invaders (Monster Energy Cup Series) drivers in this race this week.

Today’s race is the first “Dash 4 Cash” race in the Xfinity series! This means the highest finishing driver of the 4 who qualified last week at Texas (Michael Annett, Tyler Reddick, Christopher Bell, and Chase Briscoe) wins themselves a nice $100,000 prize. With the absence of Kyle Busch this week, the #18 car will be driven by Harrison Burton to make his Xfinity Series debut. Alex Labbe will be in the #90 and Zane Smith is back in the #8 this week for JRM are the driver changes for this week.

Nascar DFS: Leaders of the Pack.

With the amount of laps being run at Bristol this week (300) I will be recommending trying to get 2-3 of these guys into your lineups, I will be rostering no less than 2 myself. These are the guys that will be running up front all day most likely and will have the best chance to lead laps, especially with their being no cup drivers allowed in this race.

Justin Allgaier ($11,700)

2019 Avg. Finish : 11.8

Allgaier and the #7 JR Motorsports Chevy have not had the best year so far with only 3 top 10’s in 6 races, but he is a good driver with good equipment and in the end they will figure it out, and they may have this week. In first practice on Friday Allgaier was 3rd and 2nd in final practice, finishing just behind my favorite driver today (see below).

Cole Custer ($11,000)

2019 Avg. Finish: 10.7

Cole Custer had a week to forget last week finishing 34th after a wreck ended his day early. Custer had a fast car and would’ve given Kyle a run for his money. This week there is no Kyle Busch to contend with and since he didn’t qualify for the Dash 4 Cash all he needs to worry about is winning this race, and I think he will. Custer ran 2nd in first practice and 1st in final practice on Friday, and more importantly, both of his fastest came in the middle of his run, and he had the 2nd fastest 10 lap average in final practice.

John Hunter Nemechek ($9,800)

2019 Avg. Finish: 12.7

Nemecheck and the #23 GMS Racing Chevy have 3 top 10’s in the last 4 NXS races and looks to have turned things around from some early season trouble. JH has qualified inside the top 15 in every race this season and will most likely do so again today. Nemechek ran inside the top in final practice on Friday (9th) and had the 5th best 10 lap average. Before qualifying I am locking Custer and Nemecheck together into my cash game build and working from there.

Other Options: Christopher Bell ($12,800), Tyler Reddick ($12,200), Chase Briscoe ($9,500) – Both Bell and Reddick are great options but their prices make it difficult for me to fit Custer into my lineups so I won’t be using them but don’t be afraid to lock either of them in.

NASCAR DFS: Middle of the Pack

Justin Haley ($8,600)

2019 Avg. Finish: 10.7

Haley is grossly underpriced this week at $8,600, he should be in the upper price tier, but that just benefits us. Haley has one of the fastest cars on the track this weekend going into qualifying today. After finishing with the 13th best lap in first practice Haley’s team made some adjustments which lead to him jumping up to 3rd, but also Haley had the best 10 lap average on Friday. Haley has 4 top 10’s on the year and hasn’t finished lower than 17th (that was Daytona).

Ryan Sieg ($8,200)

2019 Avg. Finish: 8.7

Speaking of underpriced drivers, Ryan Sieg is having a championship quality season and is getting no love from DraftKings for it. Sieg, depending on his qualifying spot, will most likely be one of the top owned drivers site wide on Saturday, but that shouldn’t deter you from rostering him. Sieg’s worst finish is 11th (2 times) on the season, and has finished inside the top 10 in the other 4 races this season. His 43.5 DKFP per race average is good for 5th best on the season as well.

Zane Smith ($7,800)

2019 Avg. Finish: 24th

This is only Zane Smith’s second race of the season and his first did not go to well, finishing 24th and only picking up 2 DKFP. Smith has a great car, and a fast car and if he can qualify up front he will be in the hunt all day.

Other Options: Michael Annett ($8,400), Ross Chastain (8,000)

BRISTOL, TN – APRIL 05: Gray Gaulding, driver of the #08 PANINI Chevrolet, drives during practice for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Alsco 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway on April 5, 2019 in Bristol, Tennessee. (Photo by Chris Graythen/Getty Images)

NASCAR DFS: Back of the Pack

Gray Gaulding ($7,500)

2019 Avg. Finish: 19.2

Gaulding is a very consistent driver and generally stays out of trouble. In 6 races this season Gaulding hasn’t cracked the top 10, but also has finished 16th or better 4 times, and has bettered his qualifying spot 4 times as well.

More from FanSided

David Starr ($6,700)

2019 Avg. Finish: 22.3

David Starr is my favorite value play today. He doesn’t have the fastest car, he won’t lead any laps, but what he will do is finish the race and better his starting position. In 6 races this Starr has finished equal to or better than his qualifying position. He is the safest play on the entry list this week, in my opinion. Now this is Bristol and anything can happen here, so just remember that!

Alex Labbe ($6,100)

2019 Avg. Finish: 19th

Like Smith this is Labbe’s only 2nd race in the Xfinity Series this season.  Labbe finished 19th in Atlanta and earned 30 DKFP in the process. After final practice Labbe ranked 8th fastest and has his fast lap come on his second to last lap, showing he has a good long run car.
