The following are the notable records that 2019 is almost certain not to break:

17 –  Most number of quarterbacks taken in a seven-round draft (2004)

Unlikely. Seriously.

19 – Most first-round trades (2012)

That is a huge number.

19 – Most offensive players taken in first round (2009, 2004, 1968)

I cannot see less than 17 defensive players going in round one. Let alone 14.

6 – Consecutive offensive players to start the first round (1999)

Defense is too heavy here.

6 –  Most players taken in first round from one school (2004, Miami)

The breadth of schools with quality prospects at this point seems to overshadow the depth of any one program.

6 –  Most quarterbacks taken in the first round (1983)

I get that quarterbacks are important. But this one has no shot this year.
