1.5T.J. Hockenson, TE – Potentially the best tight end to come out of college in several years, Hockenson may already be a better blocker than Kittle, another great Iowa tight end. He is not nearly the receiver (yet), but he shows very good route running skill and great hands, and he is only going to get better. He is a bit bigger than Kittle and nearly the athlete (a bit slower 40 but a better vertical jump). In a tight end premium league, he is worth this pick.

1.6Miles Boykin, WR – Many do not have Boykin even within the first round of their rookie drafts, but that would be a mistake. This guy can do it all and is an athletic freak, as he ran a 4.42 40 with a 43.5″ vertical, and was also top 10 at the combine in 3-cone drill and 20-yard shuttle, showing he is quick as well as fast. He has great hands and is a good route runner as well. He is a do-it-all wide receiver who should grab a starting job right away.

1.7N’Keal Harry, WR – Harry is a beast of a man. He is 228 pounds and did 27 reps on the bench press, putting him in the a category with Metcalf when it comes to strength. He still ran a 4.53, which is still fast, even if not elite. Outside of his physical traits, he is a very good receiver, but on a level lower than the guys above him on this list. He reminds me of Anquan Boldin, a tough receiver probably best suited to the slot, but who could be very productive in the right situation.

1.8David Montgomery, RB – Montgomery is an expert tackle breaker. He had terrible blocking at Iowa State, getting hit in the backfield often, and still managed to get the attention of scouts because he bounces off tackles with his low center of gravity. He also has great vision and a nice jump cut. The only thing he lacks is breakaway speed, but so do other successful backs like Kareem Hunt.
