Tre Boston, Safety

Despite his frustrations, Tre Boston remains unsigned this offseason primarily because of depth at the safety position. It also seems likely that he overvalues himself just a touch.

Boston is a more than adequate starting safety, but he’s not commanding Honey Badger money this offseason or ever. So what market exists for the former Cardinal?

Teams that make sense: Arizona, Carolina, San Francisco

Let’s all expect Boston to come in around $7 million a year, in the middle of the starting safety market.

Prediction: He re-ups with the Cardinals for two years and $14 million with $6 million guaranteed.
