One Shining Moment: Relive all madness from the 2019 NCAA Tournament
By Kareem Gantt
The NCAA Tournament is over so the best way to wrap up March Madness is by watching this year’s One Shining Moment montage.
This was truly a March Madness to remember, with heart-stopping action on the court, and touching moments afterward. Who will forget Oregon’s ride to the Sweet 16, especially after the underwhelming season they had?
Who could forget Auburn coach Bruce Pearl coming to tears over his fallen player? Who can forget Carson Edward’s historic scoring outburst that nearly got the Boilermakers to Minneapolis? Who could forget Zion? The athletic monolith who captivated college basketball, and came within a blown defensive play to wreaking havoc and providing endless highlights in the Final Four?
Who could forget Aubery Dawkin’s missed tip-in that could have made UCF and unlikely visitor to the Sweet 16? Who could forget Ahmed Hill’s missed putback that could have sent Virginia Tech into overtime against Duke?
Who could forget the water barrages in the locker rooms after the wins? The somber cries of knowing that the season is all over in the losing team’s locker room? Who could forget the triumphant team’s stamp on the giant bracket? Who could forget the tired bodies collapsing to the floor in sorrow?
Who could forget the Texas Tech Red Raider’s march to their first-ever Final Four? Who could forget Virginia’s redemption song? All of this is what makes March Madness the best tournament in all of college, and it all made for one shining moment.
