The Atlanta Falcons were a team that really disappointed last season, as they failed to make the playoffs only two years removed from being a Super Bowl team. The Falcons have the talent on both sides of the ball to be right back in the playoff picture next season, but need to get better on the defensive side of the ball.

Atlanta did a nice job bringing back Grady Jarrett, signing him to a franchise tag, and making sure he will be in the lineup next season. Still, even with Jarrett in the mix, the Falcons should look to bring in more talent at defensive tackle, and Christian Wilkins is a guy who is going to be a force at the next level.

During his time at Clemson, Wilkins proved to be a dominant figure in the middle of the Tigers defensive line, helping them to two national titles. With Atlanta, he would team with Jarrett to give the Falcons one of the better duos in the interior in the NFC South, which is one of the best divisions in football.

Atlanta will have to get better effort from Vic Beasley Jr., who has really fallen off since becoming one of the better edge rushers in football early in his career. If they can get better on defense, they have the talent on offense to win the NFC South, and will be one of the more interesting teams in footballĀ  next season.
