The Pittsburgh Steelers surprisingly missed out on the playoffs last season, as they certainly had the talent to make a run in the AFC. Unfortunately, they were without their star running back all year, as Le’Veon Bell sat out the season, and their star wideout, Antonio Brown was benched for Week 17.

All of that drama unfolded in the worst way, and heading into 2019, neither players will be wearing the yellow and black this season. That could be a good thing for this franchise, as they are trying to turn the page, and have reliable replacements in James Connor and JuJu Smith-Schuster to fill those voids.

The Steelers should be solid offensively in 2019, as they have talent at the skill positions, and one of the better offensive lines in football. On defense, they need help in the secondary, and even with the addition of Steven Nelson, they need to focus the No. 20 overall pick on the cornerback position.

When it comes to this draft class, Byron Murphy stands out above the rest of the cornerbacks, and should be the first one off the board. On Pittsburgh, he would slide right into the starting lineup alongside Joe Haden, who is still one of the better corners in the division, and needs the help moving forward.
