2019 NFL mock draft: Dwayne Haskins heads to Giants
By Brad Weiss

Dexter Lawrence. 21. player. 36. . Defensive Tackle. Clemson
The Seattle Seahawks made it back to the playoffs last season, and it was actually a pretty impressive thing. Heading into the season, nobody really gave the team a chance to make it to the postseason, after turning over a lot of their coaching staff, and seeing some big names from their defense leave.
However, this team played hard under head coach Pete Carroll, who did one of the better coaching jobs of his career. Of course, it does help that the team has Russell Wilson under center, who is one of the better quarterbacks in all of football, and has put an April 15 due date on the team signing him to a long-term deal.
Heading into 2019, the Seahawks should be right back in the mix in terms of the playoffs, and they should focus their first round draft pick on the defensive line. Frank Clark is signed on the franchise tag, giving them one of the better sack guys in the league, but they need help in the interior of their defensive line.
Enter Dexter Lawrence, who while he did not play in the College Football Playoff, has to be considered one of the better defensive tackle talents in this draft class. Lawrence is a guy who will be an impact player at the NFL level right away, and adding him to the interior should free up Clark to have an even bigger season in 2019.
