Throughout the 2018 NFL season, the Houston Texans were by far one of the best teams in football. Possessing incredible talent on both sides of the ball, the Texans reeled off nine straight wins at one point, holding on to first place in the AFC South, and getting a home game in the playoffs.

However, their solid season came to a screeching halt in front of their home fans, as division rival Indianapolis came to town and beat them in the Wild Card round. As they look towards next season,Ā  there has to be a sense of urgency, because the leaders on their defense are getting older, and their Super Bowl window is closing.

With their first round pick in April, the Texans should look to get better in the secondary, as they have lost both starting cornerbacks this offseason, as well as safety Tyrann Mathieu. This is a team that should focus on a player like Greedy Williams, who some believe is the best cornerback in this draft class, and could be available at No. 23 overall.

Williams is a tremendous cover corner, and is not afraid to come up and make big plays, which is something this secondary has been lacking in recent years. Houston has some of the better pass rushers in football in J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney, and if they can get better coverage in the secondary, it will lead to Watt and Clowney getting even more sacks in 2019.
