4. Not depending on one player

The Nuggets don’t have a player averaging more than 25 points per game and can see anybody take over the game on any given night. This is the best thing possible because otherwise if that star player has a bad night, the team has a bad night. However, the Nuggets can see Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, or even Gary Harris take over a game.

The Nuggets will beat teams through different players and a team-centric approach. Seven Nuggets average more than 10 points per game. This diverse scoring approach means that opposing teams cannot focus on stopping one player and thus stopping the team. The points come from all over the floor.

If someone does take over the game, it is likely to be Nikola Jokic. He is a legitimate star and if he plays at a high level, it guarantees that the Nuggets play well. The beauty of Jokic though, is that even if a team decides they want to double team him, he is an outstanding passer, averaging over seven assists per game, and he will find those teammates who are more than capable scorers.

The Nuggets offense is highly sustainable, and should help fuel their run to a potential NBA championship.
