Jack Gallagher w/Drew Gulak vs Humberto Carrillo
The trio of Jack Gallagher, Drew Gulak and Humberto Carrillo teamed two weeks ago in a losing effort due to their miscommunication. Carrillo’s desire to use his best high-flying moves led to Gulak having an issue with him doing so and culminated in their loss. Gulak joins the commentary team and states that this match should be a learning experience for Carrillo.
The match goes back and forth to start before Gallagher slows the pace down to his advantage. Gallagher gets a bit vicious with stiff shots to Gallagher’s upper body. Gulak continues to reference that Carrillo respects him and wants his tutelage in order to find success on 205 Live moving forward.
Carrillo hits a reverse and starts to gain some momentum with a top rope crossbody. The aerial moves of Carrillo continues to find him success with a dive outside of the ring. Gulak tries to prevent Carrillo from doing more high-flying moves but is turned down. Carrillo hits a beautiful drop kick off the top rope but only gets a two-count.
Another offensive attempt by Carrillo ends when Gulak shoves him off the top rope. Gallagher gets disqualified giving the win to Carrillo, but Gulak brutally attacks the winner in the ring. The trash-talk from Gulak sees him wanting Carrillo to “open his ears” before a few hits to the face. Gallagher, however, interrupts and head butts Gulak.
The crowd cheers as Gallagher stands tall in the ring and Gulak walks up the ramp with a shocked look on his face.
Winner: Humberto Carrillo by disqualification
