Christian Keeling – SG

Former school: Charleston Southern, redshirt junior (Graduate transfer)
6’4″ 175 pounds
2018-19 stats:18.7 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 2.8 apg

Schools interested: Louisville, Texas Tech, Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Memphis, NC State, Maryland, Ole Miss, Colorado, Georgetown, Nevada, Butler, Arizona, Cincinnati, Tennessee, Gonzaga, Texas, Auburn, North Carolina

There’s a reason that the redshirt junior from Charleston Southern is hearing from some of the nation’s top programs including North Carolina, Gonzaga, Tennessee and Louisville – the 6’4″ guard can flat out score it.

The redshirt junior combo guard averaged nearly 19 points and seven rebounds per game (at just 6’4″) shooting 47 percent from the field, while demonstrating the ability to play both guard spots (led CSU in assists at 2.8 per game) while also averaging over one steal per game.

The program that makes the most sense to me is Texas Tech, which will likely be losing leading scorer Jarrett Culver to the NBA Draft and Matt Mooney, another graduate transfer, to graduation.

With a top 15 recruiting class coming in next season, the addition of a scoring guard with experience like Keeling could put the Texas Tech squarely back in the mix for contention in the Big 12.

Prediction: Texas Tech
