Fans at San Diego ComicCon were absolutely floored when they learned there would be more Star Wars: The Clone Wars after 10 years of the show’s initial conclusion.

As StarWars.com put it, the room “erupted in cheers and tears.”

The Clone Wars added layer after layer of depth to the prequel series and most importantly, the characters. It paved the way for another animated series, Star Wars Rebels, to absolutely thrive.

The Clone Wars resurrected Darth Maul, introduced us to Ahsoka, helped us fall even more in love with Anakin Skywalker, and showed that Obi-Wan Kenobi may have left the Jedi entirely for love, despite how often he scolded Anakin for not following the rules.
