MLB Bets Monday April 15 – Need Winners To Pay Taxes!

Good day from MLB Bets. When the Mamas & The Papas sang Monday Monday, they were referring to April 15 which fell on a Monday when this song came out.
Today, MLB Bets and it’s sister NBA Bets exclusively on fantasycpr will attempt to soften the blow by providing some winners. Do you think we can pay our taxes by sending the government winning tickets?
Saturday MLB Bets lost 1.47 units but NBA Bets won 2 units plus securing positive equity in 2 series futures. Four baseball plays were added on twitter which won juice. Using 1 unit as a base bet, and allowing for the lay and take, MLB Bets is now up 13.39 units on the season.
Here we go with the Monday schedule – all times Eastern:
Cubs/Miami (-1.40) UNDER 9 on the buy, 7:10 pm
The Marlins are surprisingly resilient lately in being able to field a competitive team defensively. They are also starting their best pitcher.
Although the Marlins are 0-3 when Trevor Richards (R) starts, he has pitched very effectively in 4 starts posting a 2.00 ERA. The Cubs have yet to post a probable pitcher, although as of this overnight writing the lean is toward Tyler Chatwood .
Surprisingly for such a good team and one that is projected to contend for the world series championship and for sure the post season, the Cubs are 1-7 in away games and 1-5 against right-handed pitchers. The Marlins don’t have any positive trends either.
If Trevor Richards continues to pitch well, this game will have a tough time going over 9. Miami scores the least of any team except for Colorado. While the Cubs do score, Richards can neutralize them making this a pitchers duel to the end.
The total posted as of now is 8 1/2. MLB Bets says to buy the total to 9 and lay the 1.40 juice. Since the game appears to be an under, this extra precaution of making the 9 a tie is worth the extra cost.
Angels power by the Rangers
LAA (+) rocks Texas, 8:05 pm
Texas is an excellent hitters park. It’s the perfect venue for Angel bats as a whole to come alive and score some runs.
This is the latest from cbssports: “Mike Trout injury update: Angels star will join team in Texas, could return against Rangers.” This would be a huge boost to LAA for sure, but if Mike Trout is not able to go, MLB Bets still predicts a win for the visiting team.
For LAA the absence of their superstar could make them lose confidence. The pitching match-up should get that confidence back.
The Angels have not confirmed a starter but it looks like Trevor Cahill. His last 2 starts have been very good: 12 innings pitched allowing 3 runs with 13 strikeouts and only 1 walk. Texas sends out Shelby Miller who has thrown 5 2/3 innings giving up 6 runs with 3 K’s and 8 walks.
MLB Bets has been pounding the table saying LAA is a better team now than last year. This series will tell a lot as to if they can get back in the playoff race. While the same urgency lies with the Rangers, the Angels appear to be the better team even without Trout. We will see.
