Sanity to NXT UK

Eric Young, Killian Dain, Alexander Wolfe and Nikki Cross, collectively known as Sanity, need a shake up more than perhaps any talent in the WWE. Once a dominant force in NXT, since getting called up to the blue brand, the fearsome foursome have transformed from force to fodder, if they even make it on air. Young, Dain and Wolfe lost to The Miz three-on-one on SmackDown last month, and it doesn’t matter what story the WWE is telling, or whom they are  attempting to build as unstoppable, this choice did the men of Sanity an insurmountable disservice. How is anyone supposed to take the losing team seriously again?

Between The Usos, The Hardy Boyz, The New Day and The Bar, the SmackDown tag scene is a tough nut to crack. However, surely somewhere in the WWE there’s a home for this fracas faction.

NXT UK seems like just the place for Sanity to find their footing again, as well as help elevate WWE’s newest product. NXT UK has a budding tag team division in need of competitors, and the former NXT Champions could fill that void nicely. Matchups against The Grizzled Young Veterans, Moustache Mountain and Gallus could allow Sanity to remind fans what they’re capable of as a team. And their potential as singles competitors on the British brand is nearly limitless. Who wouldn’t want to see Rhea Ripley vs Nikki Cross, or Killian Dain vs WALTER?

One complaint about NXT UK is it currently suffers from a lot of sameness — smaller wrestlers with an emphasis on British Strong Style — and if there’s one thing Sanity is, it’s atypical.
