The team have been doing well since ex-Liverpool defender Mauricio Pellegrino was appointed head coach in the summer. The Argentine seemingly learnt a lot while winning two La Liga titles under Rafa Benitez at Valencia. Now in their third La Liga season, Leganes are in an entirely respectable 11th position coming into this game, after finishing the last two campaigns just once place above the relegation zone.
