FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 16, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Paul George (at POR – $10,600): Needs 44.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46 fantasy points against Portland. Paul George says his shoulder is good and if it is, he could be in for a big night. But I’m not going against two months of evidence that his shoulder is still jacked up. He still gets his numbers, even when his shooting is’t there, which is a great sign for his value. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Kawhi Leonard (vs ORL – $9,300): Needs 39.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.7 fantasy points against Orlando. Kawhi will be better in Game 2. The Raptors will be better in Game 2 and Kawhi will definitely be the one who steps up and leads them. Expect a bounce-back performance from Kawhi and the Raptors in this game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
High Value SF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Will Barton (vs SA – $5,600): Needs 23.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.5 fantasy points against San Antonio. Barton played very well in Game 1 and he’s another member of the Nuggets who will get big minutes in this matchup. The Nuggets offense, especially their guards, can be all over the place but I have a semi-good feeling about Barton. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Jonathan Isaac (at TOR – $5,100): Needs 21.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.6 fantasy points against Toronto. Isaac played great against the Raptors all throughout the regular season and he was great against them in Game 1. As I said prior to Game 1, this appears to be his matchup. And while I’m not buying much Magic stock, I like where Isaac is at with his salary and minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
