Fantasy baseball owners have a lot of choices for streaming options with more than half of the probable pitchers owned in less than 50 percent of leagues.

There are 14 games on the April 17 slate with four starting before 6:30 pm EST. These games also feature just a handful of top pitchers making a start. If you are looking for a fantasy baseball streaming option or two, this is the perfect day to take advantage of the low-owned pitchers.

According to ESPN leagues, eight of 28 starting pitchers are owned in more than 50 percent of leagues. Depending on your league, there may be more that are owned in your league, but you should still have close to half of those pitchers available to you.

There are 12 pitchers owned in less than 10 percent of leagues. And, after looking at their matchups, some will see a huge increase in ownership percentage before their games begin.

So, with the number of players I have to sort through, I’m not going to waste any more time.

Fantasy Baseball Pitching Streamers: Trevor Williams, @DET

This pick feels like a cop-out because he’s been so good. Though, he’s owned in 41.8 percent of leagues. Pitching against the struggling Tigers will help continue Williams’ hot start. He has three-straight quality starts.

More from FanSided

The Tigers are hitting .201 with 40 runs scored in 15 games this season. Christin Stewart leads the team with three home runs and 12 RBIs but no hitter has an average over .260. Williams is a good pick in both season-long and DFS fantasy baseball.

Fantasy Baseball Pitching Streamers: Brad Keller, @CWS

In a matchup between two bad teams, Keller gets the start for the Royals. He’s been gaining a lot of traction among fantasy owners as his ownership is up almost 15 percent over the last week. Keller recorded 10 strikeouts in 6.2 innings against the Indians in his last start.

The White Sox have some power hitters with Jose Abreu, Yoan Moncada and Tim Anderson each with at least three home runs and 10 RBIs. Though, a team .243 average doesn’t lead to many base runners.

Keller could get another 10 strikeouts, too.

Fantasy Baseball Pitching Streamers: Lucas Giolito, vs KC

On the other side of this game is Giolito. After a good first start, Giolito has allowed a combined nine earned runs in 9.1 innings. However, that good start was against the Royals. He went 6.2 innings with two earned runs and eight strikeouts.

The Royals don’t have a true standout power hitter and they have a .249 team batting average. They don’t strike out often but that’s not part of Giolito’s game.

His 1.50 WHIP proves that Giolito doesn’t let many hitters on base and his defense backs him up.

Fantasy Baseball Pitching Streamers: Jeremy Hellickson, vs. SF

Hellickson made his first start on April 10, pitching six shutout innings with six strikeouts, four walks and three hits against the powerful Phillies.

He takes on the Giants in his next start. They ranked 29th in average (.199), 29th in home runs (10) and ninth in strikeouts (154). Kevin Pillar, who didn’t start the season with the teams leads in home runs and RBIs.

Hellickson is owned in just 1.2 percent of ESPN leagues. He’s my deep sleeper streaming pick.

It’s a good day for streaming pitchers. There are plenty of pitchers to use in this slate. Whether it’s strikeouts, quality starts or low ratios, you can find value among the less-desired pitchers.
