Here’s all the information you need for the April 16, 2019 edition of WWE SmackDown Live.

Once WrestleMania season ends, it’s time to start laying the foundation for the next year. And with that comes the WWE Superstar Shake-Up. This week, SmackDown Live will feature the back end of the two-night event, one that has already seen some big names find new homes.

As we saw last night on Monday Night Raw, The Miz was the first person to jump brands, and he did so in shocking fashion. As Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon opened up Raw, Shane was blasted from behind from The Miz. That said, the Tuesday night brand immediately lost a big part of the roster.

As has been tradition in the past, everybody in the WWE locker room is subject to the Superstar Shake-Up. This could mean The Revival could switch to SmackDown Live, we could see more NXT call-ups like The Viking Experience (f/k/a The War Raiders) making their debuts or even the possibility of someone like Finn Balor bringing the Intercontinental Championship to Tuesday nights.

Announcers are even in on the fun, too. We could see Mauro Ranallo go back to Tuesday nights, or even ring announcers could switch nights. The point is, everybody is up for grabs in the Superstar Shake-Up. And that’s what makes it all the more interesting.

If tonight is anything like Raw was on Monday night, the announcements of the newly-acquired talent will come in the form of matches. The surprise factor has a chance to be huge, based on what we’ve already seen.

dark. Next. Accidental epics of WrestleMania weekend

After this week, we’ll have a new landscape around the WWE Universe. Now comes the part of setting the stage for Money In The Bank, and getting some fresh matches with fresh face across the board.
