2. Winning it all at Money in the Bank

Money in the Bank is always an eventful night. First, there’s the anticipation of who will capture the briefcase with the title contract. Then, once the winner achieves their goal, the question on when they will cash it in comes into play.

For Dean Ambrose, the 2016 Money in the Bank would be a night to remember. On that fateful night in his hometown of Las Vegas, Ambrose would not only scale the ladder to capture the briefcase, but he would successfully cash it in later that night to win his first World Heavyweight title.

Any match that involves ladders is bound to have chaos in it. Add in the likes of Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Cesaro, Alberto Del Rio, Chris Jericho plus Ambrose and the rampant destruction intensifies. After a grueling bout, Ambrose was able to best the other men to claim the Money in the Bank briefcase.

But the night didn’t end there.

Seth Rollins successfully reclaimed his World Heavyweight Championship from his former Shield-mate Roman Reigns when the other third of the faction, Ambrose, appeared to cash in his newly-won briefcase. After cracking Rollins upside the head with that very briefcase, Ambrose went on to win his very first Heavyweight Championship and cemented himself at the top of the WWE in this remarkable moment.
