Avengers: Endgame’s official release date is Friday, April 26, but you can see it in theaters as early as Thursday.
MCU fans, assemble. Avengers Endgame a.k.a Avengers 4 will premiere in theaters Friday, April 26. As is the norm, first screenings of the latest MCU movie begin Thursday, April 25 as early as 6 p.m. in the evening. Of course, screenings don’t equate to still available tickets. In the first week of sales, Endgame sold five times as many tickets as Infinity War and crashed multiple ticket sites on the first day.
Endgame will be, fittingly given the name, the end of the Phase 3 of the MCU and many of the franchise’s biggest names aren’t expected to make it out alive. While fans realistically didn’t take Thanos’ snap too seriously — Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa have sequels on the calendar — there is serious consideration regarding the fate of Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark and Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers.
Ten days before the movie’s official release, the Russo brothers posted an impassioned plea to fans, with the hashtag #DontSpoilTheEndgame, asking to keep key plot points to themselves.
These days, standard decorum seems to dictate the first weekend is spoiler-free on social media, but anyone who doesn’t make a point to see the movie the first four days and also chooses to go expose themselves bring any spoilers upon themselves.
Avengers Endgame arrives in theaters on April 25, with an official premiere date of Friday, April 26. Pre-order tickets now wherever movie tickets are sold.
