8. Chicago Bears at Philadelphia Eagles

The first of several playoff rematches on our must-see list of games, this matchup between the Bears and Eagles was an instant classic in the postseason because of one man: Cody Parkey. The former Eagles’ kicker, who had been erratic at best for the Bears during the regular season, missed a potential game winning field goal as the Eagles stunned the Bears at Soldier Field.

That marked an inglorious end to what had been a return to the top for the Bears, who rode a revived defense to an NFC North title and had scored a win over the Los Angeles Rams during the regular season. A win over the Eagles would have sent the Bears out to Los Angeles for another shot at them, and it’s fair to wonder what could have been if Parkey’s kick had just gotten through the uprights.

Instead, the Eagles moved on behind Nick Foles, who is now taking snaps in Jacksonville. Carson Wentz is back under center for the Eagles and is set to square off with Mitchell Trubisky in a showdown featuring two of the NFC’s most talented young signal callers.

These two teams should also be jockeying for playoff positioning, so whoever wins this showdown in Philadelphia could have a leg up in the postseason push.
