Welcome back readers of FantasyCPR, today we are working on a condensed NBA DFS article for you guys as I simply don’t have a lot of time to provide an in-depth breakdown. I will be providing my core plays for the three game slate best of luck to you guys tonight!

April 18th: NBA DFS Playoffs Edition Round 1, Day 6 Quick Hits

Team Totals:

1.) Golden State Warriors – 122.25 Points

2.) Philadelphia 76ers – 115.75 Points

3.) Los Angeles Clippers – 113.75 Points

4.) Brooklyn Nets – 112.75 Points

5.) San Antonio Spurs – 107 Points

6.) Denver Nuggets 103.5 Points

NBA DFS Core Plays:

Joel Embiid, @ BKN ($9,800)

Embiid is the top play on the slate for me tonight. He is coming off a down game but he only played 21 minutes. Philadelphia is going to have take the minutes cap off of Embiid if they want to continue to win. Nobody on this Brooklyn team can cover him. I expect Embiid to come out again and perform on the road where his team will need him desperately. Also, this game possesses the tightest spread on the slate, maybe providing us with another quarter of basketball if we get lucky.

Stephen Curry, @ LAC ($9,100)

I usually do not pay up for two stars in NBA, however Curry and Embiid are both under $10,000. It’s not overly difficult to fit both of them in a lineup together and they have the ability to combined for 140 DraftKings points on this slate. I’m not expecting the 72 DraftKings points that he had in Game 1 of this series, but I am expecting a great game from Stephen Curry tonight, giving the Warriors a 2-1 lead on the road. Curry is averaging 53 DraftKings points in the 5 games against the Clippers so far this season.

Gary Harris, @ SAS ($5,100)

Harris has been a major factor so far in the playoffs. Playing 37 and 35 minutes in the two postseason games. He has produced 27.75 DraftKings points in Game 1 and followed that with 32.25 DraftKings points in Game 2. Harris is simply too cheap for what he’s been able to do. He is a lock in every format.

Spencer Dinwiddie, v. PHI ($5,300)

Dinwiddie has yet to have a huge game in the playoffs, maybe we can expect it tonight with him traveling back home. However, he has still be able to outproduce his salary in back-to-back games. In the 6 games against Philadelphia this season, Dinwiddie is averaging 31 DraftKings Points. Hopefully he is able to get somewhere in that range for us tonight.

Jakob Poeltl, v. DEN ($3,900)

Was not owned the other day. Poeltl is going to hover around 20 DraftKings points, it’s not great but he provides us with useful salary relief that will allow us to double stud. Poeltl has played over 20-minutes in back-to-back playoff games. Don’t over think it.

Average: $5,600 remaining per position
