This poster of Ben Simmons “missing” jump shot is brutal, but also the funniest thing the internet has produced today. NBA fans are awesome.

If you’re walking around Brooklyn today, you may notice a Ben Simmons poster taped to random things in the neighborhood near Barclays Center.

Someone thought of a brilliant idea to put some “missing” posters of Ben Simmons non-existant jumper. The poster has all of the classic characteristics of a milk carton missing poster, listing Simmons’ date of birth, age, weight, and hight.

It also lists the date that his jumper is missing at “24/7,” and the identifying characteristics of it as “just average.” Also, it seems as if his jumper was last seen chilling out at the new Margaritaville Resort in Orlando, which, in reality, who could blame it?

The “reward” for retrieving his jumper is $26,620,450, the price tag of his four-year deal (h/t r/NBA).

This poster is both brutal and the funniest thing to hit the internet.

It’s not a huge secret (really not even a secret) that Simmons jump shot is something to be desired at this point in his budding career. In fact, I think the Brooklyn Nets Jarad Dudley, who is definitely not shy about speaking his mind, was actually being kind to Simmons when he called his jump shot “average.”

But it seems as if Dudley’s comments has lit a fire within Simmons.

Next. Boban Marjanovic has become an enormous difference-maker. dark

After the 76ers shocking Game 1 loss, Simmons went for a triple-double in Philly’s Game 2 win, and when the series shifted to New York’s favorite borough for Game 3, Simmons exploded for a playoff career-high 31 points to go along with 9 assists, 4 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 2 steals in a relatively easy Game 3 victory that put the 76ers back in command of the series.

Oh, and he shot 11-for-13 as well. I guess his jumper was tired of drinking margaritas in Orlando.
