The Raptors got right with a big Game 2 win. Can they keep momentum and take homecourt advantage back from the Magic in Game 3?

Below is everything you’ll need to watch Game 3.

Aggressive defense and hot shooting from D.J. Augustin was enough for the Magic to steal a Game 1 upset but the Raptors bounced back with a huge win in Game 2, reasserting control and reestablishing who is the dominant team. Their defense turned the screws on Orlando and Kawhi Leonard was absolutely exquisite. Through two games, he’s averaging 31.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and a steal per game, shooting an absurd 62.5 percent from the field and 53.8 percent on 3-pointers. Orlando has simply had no answer for his efficient volume-scoring and when their offense was stymied in Game 2, things quickly got out of hand.

If Orlando is going to have a chance of extending the series, they need to get Nikola Vucevic going. He averaged 20.8 points per game during the regular season, leading the Magic in scoring, but he’s managed just 17 points, total, in the first two games against Toronto. Marc Gasol has been excellent defending him, but the Raptors have also come with quick double-teams, keeping him off balance in the post and Orlando hasn’t been able to create space for him to use his jumper to compensate. In addition, they’ll need their outside shooters to show up — they hit 14-of-29 3-pointers in Game 1 but just 9-of-34 in Game 2.

Even at home, the Magic are big underdogs in Game 3 — FiveThirtyEight’s NBA predictions give them just a 27 percent chance of winning and just a 7 percent chance of advancing past Toronto to the Conference Semifinals. The odds are long and every possession will count.
