MLB Bets To Win – Saturday April 20 – Seattle Rolls On
By John Fazio
Good day from MLB Bets. This will be a short article so let’s get to the plays today.
Using 1 unit as a base and factoring in the lay and take, Friday (including the plays added during the day on twitter) MLB Bets lost just under 1 unit to put the season total at +20.24 units. The day started badly but then the last 3 plays won.
Kansas City (+2.20) is a value to beat New York, 1:05pm
The Royals are not out of this game. Heath Fillmyer for KC has yet to come around but had quality starts last season. New Yorks Masahiro Tanaka got shelled in his last start – at home to the White Sox.
Atlanta (in both games) over Cleveland, doubleheader 4:10 pm
Both Cleveland pitchers Corey Kluber and Trevor Bauer have been alternating good and bad outings. The same can be said for Julio Teheran and Touki Toussaint of Atlanta so the plus money the Braves are getting is worth taking. Atlanta has a better run differential than Cleveland on the season.
Dodgers beat Milwaukee again, 7:10 pm
LA has enough to win their 3rd in row at Miller Park. Hyun-Jin Ryu is solid when healthy and this is the first start for Chase Anderson. No line posted yet; MLB Bets will tweet when line is taken.
Texas (+2.05) over Houston, 8:05 pm
The Rangers got shelled yesterday but MLB Bets wants to try them again today. Gerrit Cole vs Adrian Sampson.
Colorado (+1.12) again over Philadelphia, 8:10 pm
MLB Bets wants to ride this Rockies wave of success.
Cincinnati (-1.15) over San Diego, 8:40 pm
The Reds are finally on a winner while the Padres have cooled off from their hot start. This trend should continue today. Luis Castillo has a 1.45 ERA and is better than Eric Lauer right now.
Seattle (+1.06) overpowers Los Angeles, 9:07 pm
The Mariners are back on a roll with the 2nd best run differential in baseball. MLB Bets is staying the course here.
