We have officially cracked the top-20 and we do so with the only man to ever beat both The Rock and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin on the same night. That man is none other than All Elite Wrestling’s Chris Jericho.
While for the most part, his entrances in WCW were nothing special, the Ayatollah of Rock N’ Rolla changed the game when he jumped ship to the WWE during the Monday Night Wars. With the countdown to the millennium, Jericho debuted in a segment with The Rock with much fanfare and we were off the races with him ever since.
Jericho evolved his character over the years but, for the most part, always kept the same entrance theme in WWE, titled “Break the Walls Down.” He sparingly used other themes during his run but they never quite clicked as that one did. Whether it was a scarf, a light-up jacket or just a shiny type of attire, there was always something special about his entrances with WWE.
As the front man to the band Fozzy, once Jericho departed WWE and began working in New Japan Pro Wrestling, he used his own track, “Judas,” to make his way to the ring. He had some spectacular entrances in the Tokyo Dome ,as well. We are excited to see what Jericho will come up with for his entrance at AEW’s Double or Nothing on May 25.
