We’ve hit the top five of greatest pro wrestling entrances, and we kick it off with one of the greatest, most decorated wrestlers of all time, the styling, profiling, limousine-riding, jet-flying, kiss-stealing, wheeling-dealing son of a gun (Woooooo!). That’s right, it’s “The Nature Boy” himself, Ric Flair.
It’s no surprise that the 16-time (and arguably more depending who you ask) World Heavyweight Champion places on the top-five of the greatest pro wrestling entrances of all time. This man knew how to make an entrance before it was even a thing that people paid attention to as a key part of the business.
The two-time WWE Hall of Famer certainly knows how to captivate a crowd, and has passed that skill along to his daughter Charlotte, the eight-time WWE Women’s Champion. Charlotte’s entrance at WrestleMania this year was inspired by her father’s entrance during the Great American Bash in 1986. Like father like daughter for sure.
Whether it was the sparky robes that cost thousands of dollars, the trademark strut as he walked to the ring, or just his overall charisma he had that allowed him to pull it all off, the Nature Boy was something special. Flair recently celebrated his 70th birthday earlier this year. Here’s to many more.
