Players costing over $6,250

Joel Embiid (vs BKN – $10,000): Needs 48.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 77 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Embiid is expected to play in this game but check his status before making any decisions. Embiid is going to dominate if he plays because the Nets have no answer and Embiid is the best center in the league for a reason. Minutes would be the only concern. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Nikola Jokic (vs SA – $9,300): Needs 45.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 58 fantasy points against San Antonio. Jokic has been strong in this series and with the Nuggets returning home, he should enjoy that home cooking in this game. The Spurs don’t have a real answer for him and we know what he’s capable of. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Enes Kanter (vs OKC – $6,100): Needs 29.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Kanter has played well enough in this series but he’s Enes Kanter so maybe he has a bad game? But as I’ve said this whole time, I love the Blazers and don’t trust the Thunder. If you want to save money, Gasol or Poeltl are your best options. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jarrett Allen (at PHI – $5,400): Needs 26.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Allen has also played well in this series and he showed off a high ceiling in the last game. Embiid playing maybe seems to help him? He’s at a good enough salary given his usual minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
