The 2019 NFL Draft will be held in Nashville, Tennessee, which is best known to football fans as the home city of the Tennessee Titans.

It’s almost time for the NFL Draft, and the league has made it a point in recent years to take the draft on the road to bring the experience to as many fans as possible across the country. After recent stops in Philadelphia, Chicago, and Arlington, the 2019 NFL Draft makes its way to the Volunteer state for the first time.

The draft, which is scheduled to begin with the first round on April 25th, will be held in Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville, which is best known to football fans as the home of the Tennessee Titans, was awarded the draft last year after beating out bids from Denver, Kansas City, Las Vegas, and the Cleveland/Canton area.

The NFL is setting up activities on both sides of the Cumberland River in downtown Nashville for the draft. The league revealed back in January that the picks will be submitted from the main stage on First and Broadway throughout all three days of the event, while team officials will be based inside the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

The Titans’ home field, Nissan Stadium, will also play a pivotal role in draft festivities. The stadium’s parking lots will play host to the NFL Draft experience, which is basically an interactive event filled with activities for all fans in attendance.

The league is also planning to stage concerts throughout the draft, with the main stage on Broadway expected to host “high level talent” and a secondary stage being set up across the river by the stadium. The draft’s red carpet show will also be held on Thursday, April 25 at The Green at Riverfront Park.

The best news for football fans heading to Nashville is that admission to all of these events is free. The league is expecting nearly 300,000 fans to descend on Nashville throughout draft weekend, creating one of the most intensive draft experiences in NFL history.
