2. player. 42. . Edge. Ohio State. Nick Bosa

The San Francisco 49ers currently hold the No. 2 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, and it will be certainly interesting to see what they do with it. The team needed edge rusher help heading into the offseason, but did a nice job adding talent there, trading for Kansas City Chiefs star pass rusher Dee Ford.

When it comes to this draft class, there is plenty of talent at the edge rusher spot, and if they really wanted to, they could trade this pick for quite a haul. If they do stay at No. 2, the expectation is that the team will roll with Nick Bosa from Ohio State, who many believe is the best edge rusher this draft class has to offer.

Bosa and Ford on the edge would give the 49ers one heck of a duo, and they also have 2017 first round pick Solomon Thomas out there as well. This is the third year for the head coach-general manager duo of Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch, so there better be some winning on the horizon, as the organization has tried to give them the best hand as possible.

San Francisco has their franchise quarterback in Jimmy Garoppolo, so they could also trade this pick to a team that is desperate to get their guy at that position later this week. Either way, they are in great shape entering the 2019 NFL Draft, and with a couple solid moves, they could be in play for a possible playoff spot this upcoming season.
